"Sweet India" racconta le bizzarre avventure di una famiglia mezza indiana e mezza italiana, i Ragalan, alle prese con la vita di tutti i giorni e con un ristorante da mandare avanti in una città italiana.
La famiglia è formata da un padre indiano (di madre inglese), da una madre italiana, di religione in parte cattolica in parte induista, da un nonno indiano che rappresenta la saggezza senza nazionalità e da tre figli dai 14 ai 20 anni.
Dall'incontro-scontro di due culture diverse, di puntata in puntata i Ragalan si troveranno infatti ad affrontare i loro sogni, desideri e bisogni in un susseguirsi di esilaranti accadimenti.
